About
Hi, I'm Alejandro Corsino a Programmer, Musician, and Artist based in Australia. I'm passionate about building great software, creating music, and exploring the intersection of technology and creativity.
Professional Background
With over 20 years of experience in software development, I currently work as a person who writes code (I don't like titles). I build scalable solutions and I'm always exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve how we build software.
Music
Music has been a constant presence in my life. I compose and produce music across various genres. You can find some of my work on Soundcloud. Whether it's scoring for media or creating original compositions, I find that music allows me to express ideas that code alone cannot capture.
Art & Creativity
Beyond code and music, visual art has always been a fundamental part of who I am. I work as both a traditional and digital artist, finding joy in the unique qualities each medium offers.
In traditional media, I paint with oils and acrylics, drawn to the rich textures and tactile experience of brush on canvas. There's something irreplaceable about mixing pigments and watching colors blend in ways that feel almost alive. I also love pencil drawing the simplicity of graphite on paper allows for an intimate, immediate connection between thought and mark.
On the digital side, I create artwork using tools like Procreate, which offers incredible flexibility and the freedom to experiment without limits. Digital art lets me explore styles and techniques that would be difficult or impossible in traditional media, while still maintaining the hand-crafted feel I value.
For me, moving between these different mediums keeps my creative practice fresh. Each discipline informs the others the patience I learn from oil painting, the precision from pencil work, the experimentation from digital all weave together to shape my artistic voice.
